The kingdom of Olmec was under the reign of King James. A peculiar pastime of his was collecting unique and extraordinary items.

His passion was in amassing new and extraordinary objects. Oftentimes, the courtiers of King James would exploit his hobby for their own gain.

In return for their offerings of peculiar objects, the courtiers would receive generous rewards from the king.
One of the courtiers conceived a cunning plan. He commissioned a painter to create a portrait of a red peacock.

He presented the artwork to the king, claiming that it was an exclusive item from Tongass forest, Alaska. The king was amazed to see the painting of the red peacock and believed the courtier’s claim.

He was very pleased with the painting. Curious about its value, the king inquired, “How much did it cost?”

The courtier responded, “Your Highness, I spent a sum of fifty thousand rupees on this portrait.” The king instructed his Prime Minister to reimburse the courtier the full amount.

During the discussion between the king, Prime Minister, and courtier. Andrew, the king most trusted king’s adviser was also present.

He realized that the courtier was deceiving the king, but he opted to remain silent. Nevertheless, Andrew decided to reveal the courtier’s true nature as a deceitful and manipulative person.

Andrew knew that saying the truth without any proof will be dangerous to him. so, he decided to search for proof first.

After an extensive quest, Andrew found the artist who created the painting of the red peacock. Andrew requested the artist to create four paintings of peacocks in distinct color.

Accompanied by the artist, Andrew went to the court of King James. He showcased the four paintings of peacock in different colors.

King James was stunned by seeing peacock in four different colors then he realized that he was mad fool by his courtier and decided to punish him.

later, king James thanked his adviser, Andrew.
